Madhi grew up in Sudan. As a Muslim, he couldn’t understand the violence and hatred he saw. He couldn’t understand why Muslims were killing, raping and stealing from Muslims. He searched for spiritual insight.
He escaped to Egypt hoping to find peace and opportunity.
He found Jesus. He stumbled upon Arab World Media, a ministry of Pioneers, and began a conversation with an Arabic-speaking Christian.
Following Jesus was not an easy decision. He struggled, weighing the choices. He finally chose Jesus.
Today, he is a leader and church planter. Trained by Pioneers workers, he has helped start more than 50 house churches among Muslim communities in Egypt.
