Bringing the Light of the Risen Son to the Land of the Rising Sun
Japan is currently less than 1% Christian, and Colton’s desire is for that less than 1% to go up within his lifetime. In experiencing the people, the culture, and the country of Japan, the need for Jesus in Japan has convicted him. Colton is currently working as an assistant pastor, serving in various capacities and to a broad range of people. He is excited to partner with Pioneers to be able to serve the people of Japan and bring the good news of the Gospel to them.
During his first couple of years there he will be engaged in learning the language, the culture, and the people “…I have become all things to all people, that by all means I might save some. I do it all for the sake of the gospel, that I may share with them in its blessings.” 1 Corinthians 9:22-23
Colton will join a church planting team in Japan serving in a capacity that is still to be determined, in the way that God leads him to serve.
