Our Process
As the Lord raises up people who say, “Here I am, send me”, we strive to remove the obsticles they may find in their path. Our process seeks to adequately and practically prepare new workers while keeping unnecessary steps out of the way.
Next Steps
While every missionary’s journey is unique, joining Pioneers typically involves the following key steps. Through each stage, you’ll be guided by people who know your name and value the Lord's unique leading in your life.
Step 2
Connect
A missions mentor will journey with you to hear what God is doing in your life. In partnership with your local church, we will help you discern the next steps as you follow God's leading.
Step 3
Apply
Complete your application, gather 5 references, and be interviewed for membership with Pioneers.
Step 4
Get Oriented
Attend Pioneers’ week long orientation to gain a broader understanding of Pioneers and the realities of life and ministry on the field.
Step 5
Prepare
Through one-on-one coaching, in collaboration with your sending church, we will help you prepare for field service.
Step 6
Serve
Depart for the field and join your team serving God among the nations.
