A Blessing for All Peoples
“I will bless you… and in you all the families of the earth shall be blessed.” — Genesis 12:1–3
God’s covenant with Abraham reveals His global intent. From the beginning, His heart has been for all peoples, all cultures, all languages.
A Reluctant Missionary
“Should I not have concern for the great city of Nineveh…?” — Jonah 4:11
Jonah was sent to Nineveh, a violent pagan city, and he resisted. But God’s compassion would not be withheld. Jonah’s story reminds us that God’s mission extends even to those we might not expect. His mercy reaches far beyond our comfort zones.
A Song of the Nations
“Declare His glory among the nations, His marvelous works among all the peoples.” — Psalm 96:3
God’s desire is not just to be known in one place, but to be worshiped by every tribe and tongue. His glory is too great to be confined to one people group.
The Gospel: God’s Redemptive Plan for All People
“For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son…” — John 3:16
“In Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles…” — Galatians 3:14
“Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” — Romans 10:13
At the center of God’s mission is Jesus. Jesus is not just the messenger—He is the message. His life, death, and resurrection are the good news for all people. Through Him, God’s promise to bless the nations is fulfilled. The gospel is not limited by geography, ethnicity, or culture. It is for everyone. This is the climax of the story: God’s mission is accomplished through Jesus, and the Church is sent to proclaim this good news to the ends of the earth.
A Commission from the King
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” — Matthew 28:19–20
Jesus, the fulfillment of God’s promises, sends His followers to continue what God has always been doing. Jesus is the King who sends, and we are the people who go—not to impose, but to invite others into the joy of knowing Him.
A Vision of the Future and a Call for Today
“A great multitude that no one could number, from every nation, from all tribes and peoples and languages, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…” — Revelation 7:9–10
This is not the end of the story—it’s the fulfillment of God’s promise. But the mission continues. God is still writing it, and we are called to live toward that vision today.
