Walking Alongside the Japanese Church
God has put Japan on the hearts of Theo & Anka, and they hope to be sent out by their local churches, by 2028. Their first two years will be devoted to full-time Japanese language learning, followed by full-time ministry, serving alongside local Japanese churches. We invite you to be a part of this work through your prayers and financial support.
Japan is home to about 122 million people, yet fewer than 1% of Japanese people know Jesus. Please pray for open hearts in Japan, for perseverance as Theo & Anka learn Japanese, and for the pastors and churches they will serve. Your financial gifts will help cover language school, living expenses, and ministry costs as they prepare to go.

Pioneers Canada is a registered charitable organization #119160901 RR0001. Spending of funds is confined to programs and projects approved by Pioneers Canada. While a donor may express a preference that their gift be used for a specific approved program/project, the final decision on the gift’s use is that of Pioneers Canada. Each accepted designated gift for a program/project will be restricted, provided that Pioneers Canada may, at its discretion, repurpose the gift if such program/project’s purpose has been met or cannot be completed, with remaining funds to be used where they are most needed. If a gift cannot be used in the donor’s preferred manner, it can not be returned and will remain the charitable property of Pioneers Canada.
