While a donor may express a preference that their gift be used for a specific approved program/project, the final decision on the gift’s use is that of Pioneers Canada. Each accepted designated gift for a program/project will be restricted, provided that Pioneers Canada may, at its discretion, repurpose the gift if such program/project’s purpose has been met or cannot be completed, with remaining funds to be used where they are most needed.
